YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS: Ten films shot by a famous German film maker, Arthur Brauner, will be shown to Armenian movie-goers within the frameworks of the sixth festival of German films that opened today in Yerevan.
The festival held under the motto ‘Dialogue for Tolerance and Philanthropy,’ is the joint effort of the German embassy in Yerevan, the Tbilisi-based Goethe Institute and the Armenian Association of Film Critics and is dedicated to the 85-th anniversary of Brauner.
All the ten films tell about the ordeals Jews had to go through during World War II.
Germany’s ambassador to Armenia Hans-Wulf Bartels told at the opening ceremony that cooperation between Armenian and German film-makers will go on.
