YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS: A pair of highly trained teams of NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) doctors, including two Armenians, are visiting patients in several Armenian cities, part of a NATO program aimed at bringing specialists to areas where they are in short supply.
The program is known as MEDCAP, short for Medical Civil Action Project. It is being conducted in conjunction with Exercise Cooperative Best Effort 03 (CBE 03), the NATO and PfP exercise that began June 16. The visits to pre-identified patients are free of charge.
One team of specialists is working in the northern cities of Vanadzor and Spitak
