YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS: Some 400 doctors and related specialists have confirmed their participation in the first international congress of Armenian medical workers , slated to take place in Yerevan from July 1 to July 3, this summer. Ara Ter-Grigorian, head of the health agency, who will be chairing the congress, said the list of participants may outnumber 450 people, of which 250 are coming from other countries.
He said the congress will be unprecedented in terms of a variety of issues it is going to discuss, stressing also its significance for bringing together specialist of related areas. “We are providing an environment for them all to meet, communicate, share their views and opinions,” he said.
The focal issues on the gathering’s agenda will be new methods of treatment, advanced technologies and their application.
