groong: About 30,000 Tourists Visited Armenia During First Quarter Of 2003

YEREVAN, June 12 (Noyan Tapan). About 30,000 tourists visited Armenia
during the first quarter of 2003 (57.1% of this number is tourists
from the CIS). According to the RA National Statistical Service, about
29,000 people departed from the republic with tourist purposes during
the same period. From January to March, 2003 the index of home tourism
(rest in the territory of the republic) made about 18,000 people.
