arminfo: ARMENIA OCCUPIES 43RD PLACE IN RATING OF CHAMPIONS´ LEAGUE MEMBER-STATES FOR 2003-2004

JUNE 9. Armenia occupies the 43rd place among 52 participant-states of the League of Champions for 2003-2004.

When distributing the places, the League of Champions takes into account the games of all the clubs of a country during the last five seasons. And the coefficient received determines the number of the teams participating in the tournament, as well as the stage the clubs start the struggle for the honorable trophy. Among the first ten are Spain, Italy, England, Germany, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Turkey, Portugal and Russia. The last ones are Andorra, San Marino and Kazakhstan.
