227 AIDS carriers 217 of which being Armenian citizens are registered in Armenia to date. Republican Center for struggle against AIDS director Samvel Grigorian told “Arminfo” agency. In his words, Armenia is at the 2-nd, the so-called “concentration” stage of this disease spreading. It means at least 5% of the virus carriers are in risk group. At the same time the number of ill people infected in the result of intravenous taking of drugs forms no less than 15%, S. Grigorian said.
