The head of Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Karekin II, left May 14 for Krasnoyarsk, one of the biggest Russian cities in Siberia where he is going to consecrate an Armenian Church. The Saint Sarkis Armenian Church is the first Armenian Church built in Siberia. This is also the first visit of the head of Armenian Church to Siberia. During his trip abroad, His Holiness will also visit the Armenian Church Diocese of the Ukraine, (His Eminence Archbishop Grigoris Buniatian, Primate), where he will preside during a consecration of an Armenian Church in the city of Lvov.
