MAY 13. FIFA Secretary General of Josef Blatter will pay a one-day visit to Armenia on May 22.
Talking to ARMINFO, Press Secretary of the Federation, well-known Armenian TV commentator Suren Baghdasaryan said the visit aims participation in the opening of a sports school in the Yerevan community Malatia-Sebastia. The construction was contributed by FIFA under a 4-year program. The project costs $400,000. Suren Baghdasaryan said the schedule of FIFA Secretary General’s meetings in Armenia has not been determined so far. However, Blatter is likely to meet President Robert Kocharyan, Head of the Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hairapetyan, as well as other high ranking football and sports officials.
