A group of CIS experts of 50 members will observe the coming parliamentary election to be held in Armenia May 25. Member of the CIS observation mission Yevgeny Sloboda said in the course of a meeting with Armenian parliament speaker Armen Khachatrian. In Y. Sloboda’s words, on the election day the CIS observers will meet with those of the OSCE and PACE, as well as members of the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia and representatives of influential political forces of the country. The preliminary conclusion on the elections will be made May 26, after which a summary of the presidential and parliamentary election in Armenia will be submitted to the Council of the CIS leaders.
