asbarez: Let The Navasartian Games Begin!

GLENDALE–The opening ceremonies of Homenetmen’s 28th Navasartian Games were held Sunday May 4 at the Glendale Homenetmen Ararat Center.

Western Region Prelate Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Rev. Nareg Pehlivanian, HMEM Central Executive member Koko Balian, ARF Central Committee member Mher Tavitian, the honorary president of the 27th annual Navasartian Games Alber Shahinian, “Exemplary Homenetmen Member 2002” Garo Kazanjian, representatives of sister organizations, honorary presidents of previous Navasartian Games, prior recipients of the “Exemplary Homenetmen Member” award, official guests, parents and endless Homenetmen members–were all present to celebrate the opening of the much anticipated athletic games!

The Navasartian Games will be held every weekend at Valley Glen Grant High School through the first weekend of July; closing ceremonies will be conducted on July 6.
