YEREVAN, April 18 (Noyan Tapan). In January-February 2003, 1,123.7 mln kw/hour electricity were produced in Armenia, which made 99.8% of the same index of last year. the volume of the production of TPPs increased by 41.1%, the volume of production of HPPs increased by 37.4% and the volume of NPP decreased by 44.8%. According to the RA national Statistical Service, in January-February 2003, the Armenian Power Nuclear Plant produced 293.7 mln kw/hour electricity, which made 26.1% of the whole electricity produced in the republic, and TPPs produced 564.8 mln kw/hour electricity, or 50.3%, HPPs produced 265.2 mln kw/hour electricity, or 23.6%, respectively. 182.5 thousand Gkal thermal energy was produced in January-February 2003, which made 141.7% of thermal energy produced during the same period of last year.
