June 16-26 the Turkish party will participate in “Cooperative Best Effort 2003” multinational military maneuvers to be held in Armenia within the framework of the NATO program of “Partnership for Peace.” Turkish army senior officer Naim Barburogli, who participates in the final conference in Yerevan on planning the maneuvers, told “Arminfo” agency. In his words, Turkey actively participates in all measures held within the NATO framework irrespective of the place they are held. Let us note that 10 Turkish servicemen will participate in the maneuvers. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan will not be represented at the exercises.
