YEREVAN, April 15 — U.S. Administration plans to give aid of 733,000
U.S. dollars to the Armenian law enforcement agencies, according to
an agreement that Armenia’s Prosecutor General and the U.S. charge
d’affairs signed here Monday.
The aid package includes technical assistance in training law
enforcement cadres.
A source at the U.S. embassy here said computer classes will be set up
at the Armenian Police University, the Police Officers Training Center,
as well as at the training center of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
