APRIL 14. The America IT company Viraje Logic is going to enlarge its presence in Armenia.
According to the director of the company’s Yerevan Office Hakob Duvalyan, the company is going to spend $2 mln to buy 3,500 sq m to have a building of its own.
The company develops and sells software for universal chip production. The Yerevan Office employs some 60 people. The company was going to raise this number to 80-90 by the end of this year, but will not because of the unfavourable tendencies currently observed in the US economy. Duvalyan said that the Yerevan Office is mostly engaged in developing new software by the order of the Headquarters.
The Yerevan Office of the Viraje Logic was set up in the summer 1999. The company has similar offices in the US, Europe, India and Japan.
