Film makers from Slovakia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Mongolia, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine will demonstrate their works. Private Look is the only international festival held in the Southern Caucasus after the collapse of the former Soviet Union. It was established in 2000 in Yerevan by film makers from several former Soviet republics and Bulgaria.

The main objective of the festival is to help promote film industry in former Soviet republics and Eastern European countries, provide an environment for film community to start mutually beneficial contacts and exchange of their experience.

The festival also tries to provide a positive impact on the strengthening of cultural ties between the Southern Caucasian nations and an environment for expression of different views. It is supported by the Open Society Institute and some Armenian businesmen.
