Reelected Armenian president Robert Kocharian will be sworn in today and will receive the blessing of the oldest Armenian manuscript, the Vehamor Bible. The manuscript was presented to the Armenian Institute of Old Manuscripts in 1975 by the late Catholicos Vazgen I. The title-page of the Bible was lost and the name of the scribe and that of who ordered it are unknown. Experts, however, reveled that it was written in at least 7-th century. The manuscript was discovered at a village in Nagorno Karabagh by an Armenian bishop and presented to Vazgen I.
