Armenian chess player, international grand master Vladimir Hakobian is the thirteenth in the FIDE rating published March 2003. The Armenian grand master’s score was 2703. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, the list of the best chess players of the world is headed by thirteenth champion of the world Garry Kasparov having 2830 points. Another Russian representative, current world champion Vladimir Kramnik with 2789 points is the second in the rating. Anatoly Karpov with 2686 points is the 19-th.
