Group of Armenian musician within the framework of the program “New names” continues tours in the USA and Canada. The tours are organized on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the great Armenian composer Aram Khachatrian.
ARMINFO was informed in the press service of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, from Mar 26 to 30 the young musicians were in Washington at the invitation of the Armenian Embassy in the USA.
“New names” will also hold concerts in New York, Providence, Montreal, Ottawa and Boston. According to the resource, the commission of New-England in Boston, established for holding arrangements, dedicated to the jubilee of Aram Khachatrian, made a great contribution for organizing the tour. Ambassadors of Armenia in the USA and Canada, leaders of two dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church are honorable members of the commission.
