March 27, Armenpress: “Armenia is a country with great cultural traditions and I am very glad that from year to year the interest towards Japan and Japanese cinematography is raising in such a country”, said the ambassador of Japan in Armenia Isse Nomura during the ceremony of opening of Third Festival of Japanese Films held in Yerevan’s “Moscow” cinema.
“Japan and Armenia are located far from each other geographically, but long to cooperate as countries with old cultural traditions”, said Armenian deputy minister for culture, youth issues and sport Alis Adamian. In her words, during the 10 years after establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, bilateral cooperation in the sphere of culture was very successful.
During the Festival three films will be shown: “The Face”, “Nagiasa” and “Dora-Heita”.
