Several days ago it became known that a gang led by “Aper”, accused now of killing last December 28 the chief of state-run TV Tigran Naghdalian, was preparing also to kill a well-known Armenian businessman.
The assassins were tasked to wound the businessman in the leg and then demand $300,000. Later, after receiving the money, they were to kill him. The plot failed because of a coincidence (one of the close relatives of the businessman died.) This fact is being now investigated by the law-enforcement bodies.
