MARCH 22. The Romanian football specialist Mihai Stoica was appointed
Friday head couch of the Armenian national football team.
According to the president of Armenia’s Football Federation Ruben
Hayrapetyan, Stoica will work in Armenia for one year and “if we
are satisfied with the results of his work, the contract will be
prolonged. ”
Stoica has become the fourth specialist to couch the Armenian team
in the last year. The last one, Argentinean Oscar Lopez was fired
after asking higher wages.
Stoica have couched the leading Romanian clubs, Steaua and Dinamo. He
will debut next Saturday when Armenia will be receiving Northern
Ireland in qualifying match of EUFA Euro 2004.
