As a result of an abundant snowfall, which has already been continuing in Armenia for four days and due to poor visibility a number of highways of the Republic were blocked or became hardly passable. In particular, the Yerevan-Sevan motorway, a stretch of the Yerevan-Goris-Meghri road, as well as Gyumri roads are closed at present. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, the Armenian ministry of transport calls all drivers to refrain from trips in the morning and evening, as the visibility decreases and even the passable roads become dangerous at these periods of time.
