FEBRUARY 23. The USA fully shares the position of the oSCE on the first round of the presidential election in Armenia, The U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia John Ordway told ARMINFO.
According to him, certainly a progress was seen during the presidential election in Armenia. At the same time, there were many violations. The diplomat expressed hope for that all the defects will be eliminated by the second round of the presidential election. John Ordway categorically refuted the statements about that in case of 5% of violations during the presidential election, the USA will consider illegitimate the new president of Armenia.
