YEREVAN, February 21 (Noyan Tapan). Humanitarian aid of a total weight of 28,518.9 tons was imported to Armenia in 2002. According to the RA National Statistical Service, 33.8% out of the aid worth 6,728.5 mln drams (about $11.6 mln) made chemistry and the products of industrial branches connected with it, 31.7% made textile wares. The products of ready-made food of 56.197 tons were imported to Armenia during 2002. The total value of these products made 45.777 mln drams. 105.3 tons of cars, equipment and mechanism worth 312.6 mln were also imported as humanitarian aid to Armenia during the mentioned period.
