FEBRUARY 8. 124 of 237 news articles referring Armenia and Armenians published in over 490 newspapers and magazines in Turkey displayed negative attitude to the Armenians, says the data of a report presented by the Main Secretary of the Armenian Patriarch in Turkey Tigran Zanginyan. According to the report, the major part of the articles displaying negative attitude to the Armenians refer the “Armenian Cause,” Armenia, Karabakh conflict, policy and history. The report also says that in January, 2002 Turkish TV channels provided only 24 minutes to the program about the activity of the Armenian Patriarch in Turkey and the Armenians residing in that country.-
