YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 3, ARMENPRESS: The head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Karekin II, welcomed Sunday a group of journalists from local mass media at the headquarters of the Church to hand them over certificates after a four-month long course in religion.
“I am handing you over certificates which prove that you attended religion classes and completed them with success. That was the first event but I hope that the course will continue to enable you to get to know the Church, its life and its problems closer ,” Catholicos said.
The religion classes were organized by the Armenian Church headquarters’ information service together with the Armenian Round Table Council of the World Council of Churches. Journalists from 24 mass media outlets attended them to expand their knowledge of modern Armenian Church.
