BAKU, JANUARY 9, ARMENPRESS: An official of Azerbaijani wrestling federation said the federation is not going to ensure the safety of Armenian athletes who may travel to the capital of the rival country next May to participate in Europe’s championship.
Due to the same reasons Armenian free style wrestling team refused to go to Baku last year for a European competition. Azerbaijani sports officials do not speak against participation of Armenian athletes in competitions held in Baku, but do everything to obstruct Armenians’ arrival in Azerbaijan.
