azg: NO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN ARMENIAN TV CHIEF´S MURDER

Gurgen Ambarian, a senior official of the Armenian prosecutors’ office told Azg daily that a special team of investigators is exploring several theories of the high-profile murder of Tigran Naghdalian, chairman of Public TV and Radio Council, last December 28.

Tigran Naghdalian, 36, a staunch supporter of president Robert Kocharian, was shot in the head by an unknown gunman late on Saturday as he left his parents’ home in central Yerevan. He died two hours later in the hospital. Earlier law-enforcement bodies publicized two telephone hotlines for those who may provide any related information promising not to disclose their names.
