DECEMBER 24. Next year Armenia TV will become the second Armenian TV company and the first local private channel to “cross” the Atlantic Ocean and to broadcast by satellite in the United States.
The chairman of the company, Bagrat Sargsyan, told ARMINFO, that, supported by the Florida-based Kafeschian Family Fund, they were planning to reach not only America but also many Armenian communities worldwide.
Already today the company successfully broadcasts in the CIS, Europe and the Middle East. Its programs are included in the price lists of many cable TV companies worldwide. Today Armenia TV is one of the three Armenian companies (out of the 10 officially registered channels) covering the whole territory of Armenia. Through constant technical improvement and due to its own, highly modernized network the company seeks to reach the remotest areas of the country so far unaccessible for Armenian television.
