YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS: Secretary of Armenian Chess Federation Gagik Harutunian told Armenpress that the national federation has received an invitation from Chinese Chess Federation to organize a competition between women and men chess players of the two countries.
Harutunian said Armenian Federation has accepted the challenge. The invitation is prompted by the successful performance of Armenian chess players at a range of international competitions in the outgoing year. The competition is supposed to take place next year.
