Noyan Tapan: GROSS AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT MAKES 294.9 BLN. DRAMS DURING TEN MONTHS OF 2002

YEREVAN, December 18 (Noyan Tapan). The Gross Agricultural Product in Armenia totaled to 294.9 bln. drams (about $504 mln.) during January-October of 2002, exceeding the data of 2001 by 3.2%. The information provided by the State Statistical Center indicates that the gross product of the sphere in October made 112.1% of September. About 65.8 thousand tones of animals and poultry were sold during ten months of 2002. This data exceeds that of 2001 by 4.4%. 450,000 tons of milk were produced (2% more than last year) and 400.9 mln. eggs (4.9% more than last year).
