December 14-19 an Armenian culture week will be held in the United Arab Emirates for the first time. The measure is held in accordance with the agreement on cultural cooperation signed in the course of the official visit of Armenian president Robert Kocharian to the UAE this spring. The action is sponsored by son of the UAE president, minister of culture and information Abdullah Bin Zayed al Nahyan and Armenian minister of culture Roland Sharoyan. In the course of the culture week the Emirates public will get acquainted with the performing and vocal mastery of Armenian artistes, Armenian pictures and sculpture.
