ArmenPress: MISS STUDENT CONTEST TO BE HELD IN MOSCOW

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS: Forty-five beauties were competing today in the first round of Miss Student contest in Yerevan, but only 27 of them were elected to pass to the second phase. Of them 12 will be elected for the final stage, which is planned for 2003 March in Moscow.
The main sponsor of the beauty contest is the Union of Russian Armenians. The winner of the contest will be eligible to participate in Miss Armenia and Miss World Student.
Miss Student contest has been held in Armenia since 1999. Each year some 500 girls apply for particpation.
