NOVEMBER 23. The Armenian actors and film directors participate in the IX International Film Festival “Autumn Leaf-Fall- 2002” opened in Moscow today. According to RIA “Novosti,” Nikolay Lebedev’s film “Star” will be shown out-of-competition, hereby completing the solemn ceremony of the festival’s opening in the Republic Palace. The festival has gathered participants from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Estonia and the Ukraine. The Russian delegation is expected to be the largest. Within the framework of the festival, Days of Cinema of the CIS and Baltic countries, Days of short, documentary, retrospective films, laureates of international film festivals will be held.
