YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: Tobacco-growing is widely spread in the province of Aragatsotn. At present it occupies about 61 hectares, in which 500-600 people are engaged.
This year more than 115 tons of tobacco are received, which were procured by Masis-Tobacco Company. It should be mentioned that the number of tobacco-growers has reduced over the previous years, which is mainly connected with procuring, purchasing works and loaning, realized by Masis-Tobacco.
