The day before yesterday three paintings of Armenian painter of sea-scapes Hovanes Ayvazovky were sold for over 500 thousand pounds at the London «Sotheby’s». As RIA «Novosty» agency reports, according to experts, most paintings that were for sale were of commerce interest more than of art interest. As it became known at the auction lobby interviews, the most of the sold paintings would be in Russia as their purchase was realized in the interest of Russian customers.
