447 Armenians-refugees from Azerbaijan and other former USSR regions have become the Republic of Armenia citizens. UN Supreme Commissariat representative assistant for refugees issues in Armenia Emil Sahakian has stated that in his interview with “Arminfo” agency. According to him, as in previous months, refugees residing in Yerevan have applied for RA citizenship more often and 130 of them have been granted civic rights. In general, 7664 Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan and other former USSR regions have been granted civic rights for 2002 ten months.
