Noyan Tapan: 14-Year-Old Armenian wins in Amsterdam

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)—Gor Baghdazarian, a 14-year old boy
from Yerevan, won the first-ever One-Minute Video Junior award
organized by the European Cultural Foundation and UNICEF in
Amsterdam.

His film “Children Must Live Without War” was selected by Karim
Traïdia, maker of the Oscar-nominated film “The Polish Bride” as
the best one-minute film in the Junior category.

More than 50 entries from young European filmmakers were
submitted. “I had not expected to win the award, but I am very
happy that I did… “, said the smiling winner.
