The opportunities of arranging military cooperation between Armenia and Japan were discussed by Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian and Japanese military attache accredited in Armenia Koki Arasei. As reported by “Arminfo” agency referring to the press service of the Armenian defense ministry, the parties in particular considered interaction of the two countries in the sphere of information exchange, organizing joint conferences and mutual training. Armenia’s position on terrorism and anti-terror steps undertaken by the country military department were also concerned.
