Yerevan is hosting the second international exhibition “Armprodexpo-2002”. In the words of the Armenian minister of agriculture, David Zadoyan, the exhibition is meant to promote Armenian products with domestic and foreign commercial operators to find new outlets and enlarge export volume.
The minister is confident that this year Armenian manufacturers will manage to conclude several large contracts. “This may be possible due to the fact that our produce is not only highly competitive but is also ecologically pure,” Mr. Zadoyan claimed.
56 manufacturing companies are participating in the exhibition. They present alcohol drinks, mineral waters, tinned food, confectionery, dairy and meat products, tobacco goods, agricultural produce, packaging materials and printed stuff.
