YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Sergey Khachatrian, 17, of Armenia won the silver medal and $15,000 at the 2002 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.
Barnabas Kelemen from Hungary, 24, snapped up the gold medal and received the $30,000 top prize.
Their victories came after more than two weeks of rigorous rivalry with 40 other young violinists from 20 nations.
