/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Turkey should lift the blockade of the border with Armenia. As reported by “Arminfo” agency referring to “525” Baku newspaper, Azeri former consul to Turkey Abas Abdula stated it. Co-chair of the Armenian-Turkish commission on economic cooperation Kayan Soyak also made a statement on necessity to open the Armenian-Turkish border. In one of the interviews given to Azeri press he noted that Turkey and Armenia could establish normal economic relations, and Azerbaijan could in his turn join them and intensify the process. Kayan Soyak stressed the important role of trade ties. He said that Iran and Georgia could be considered among trade partners of Armenia and Turkey. Kayan Soyak proposes creating a Council for developing mutual ties to reach better understanding between the partners.
