PanArmenian: JAPANESE GOVERNMENT TO GIVE ARMENIA GRANT TO BUILD ROADS IN YEREVAN

The Japanese government will give Armenia a grant of 541 million yens to build roads in Yerevan. The corresponding document was signed by the representatives of the Japanese government and the Yerevan city hall. As Yerevan mayor Robert Nazarian stated to journalists, the funds will be spent on buying technical equipment for road building. He noted that next week a group of specialists of JICA Japanese agency would arrive in Yerevan to complete corresponding documentation. After that in R.Nazarian’s words, a competition will be held in Japan among companies producing such appliances. The mayor expressed hope for the equipment to arrive in Armenia before the end of the year.
