Erevan. The US Senate has approved the bill that permits the
duty-free import of Armenian jewellery and textile, – Oreanda was
told by a representative of the PR Department of Armenia’s Foreign
Ministry.
The law will come into effect after the US President’s signing. It
will help to increase the Armenian export to the United States.
Armenia’s National Service of Statistics informs that the
Armenia-United States turnover amounted to $136.5 million in 2001.
