A fire broke in Malatia fair of Yerevan at about 7.30 PM yesterday, June 4, which started in a little jewelry boutique. The blaze embraced several other little boutiques next to the jewelry one, but the fire brigade that arrived in the place half an hour later (some witnesses say people called the fire department at 7.45 and the brigade came with delay- at 8 PM) managed to localize and extinguish the fire.
One worker received light burns, but no customers were injured.
The fire department officials do not yet say what caused the fire, bearing in mind the controversial opinions of pedestrians who witnessed the blaze.
