The Armenian and Turkish foreign ministers, Vardan Oskanyan and Ismail Cem, held a meeting in New York on 1st of February
The Armenian foreign ministry press service reported that the two countries’ foreign ministers met within the framework of the World Economic Forum.
The Armenian foreign ministry said that this was the first meeting between Oskanyan and Cem in more than a year.
The Armenian and Turkish foreign ministers discussed regional problems andother issues of mutual interest, the foreign ministry told Mediamax.
Armenia and Turkey do not have diplomatic relations.
