YEREVAN (DPA) – The only nuclear power plant in Armenia has to manage without a phone for the time being. All the lines, except that of the director, have been cut off due to unpayed bills. In total they amount to some 50,000 guilders. Russian news agency Itar Tass reported this on Tuesday.
Of possible security problems in relation to the disconnection of the nuclear power plant’s phone, no announcement was made.
The provision of electricity in Armenia has to contend with a general depression. Almost no one pays their bills. The clients’ debt in total is well over 260 million guilders.
