The Armenian government has taken a decision which is set to regulate the entrance of foreign citizens infected with AIDS or HIV to Armenia who wish to take treatment by Armenicum, an anti-AIDS drug reportedly developed by Armenian scientists.
The infected foreigners, according to the decision, have to appeal to Armenia’s diplomatic representation in the given country or its consulate with a request to get a permission to enter Armenia with the purpose of getting treatment against AIDS.
The application is to be sent to Armenian foreign ministry within a month and the latter has to submit it to Armenia’s health ministry within 5 days, the latter decides whether the applicants can be received for treatment or not. The patient is informed about the decision by the foreign ministry. The patients have also to prove their solvency.
