ANDONYAN’IN ELEKTRONIK KAMPANYASI
ABD’nin Texas eyaletinden Jeff Andonian, Ecmiyadzin’de 6 ve 7 Kasim tarihlerinde toplanacak olan Yuksek Ruhani Kurul toplantisindan once bir elektronik mektup kampanyasi baslatarak, Ermeni Kilisesi onderlerinin dikkatini cekmek istiyor. 29 Ekim’de baslatilan kampanyada, Kudus ve Istanbul Patriklerinin YRK baskanlari olduklarini varsayarak, Patrigimiz Mesrob II’ye elektronik mektup atilmasi isteniyor. Son bes gun suresince Patrikhane’ye varan bu gibi elektronik mesaj sayisi ucyuzu asmis bulunuyor.
Mesaj gonderenlerin, Kudus ve Istanbul Patrikleri’nin pazartesi gunku YRK oturumuna katilmayacaklarini bilmedikleri belli oluyor. Kampanyanin icerigi hakkinda bulten listemizdeki uyeleri bilgilendirmek icin Andonyan’in yazisini ve Tamar Kocyan tarafindan yapilan cevirisini yayimliyoruz.

Ermenistan’da durum kotuden daha kotuye gitmekte. Bu yilki kuraklik urunlerin cogunu mahvetti, ekonomik durumda onemli bir gelisme yok ve kitlik yasanmasi soz konusu. Insanlarin buyuk bir bolumu giderek daha fakirlesmekte iken hukumet ve mafya zenginlesmekte ve sozde cobanlarimiz olarak nitelendirilen Ermeni Kilisesi’sinin ruhani onderlerinin buyuk bir bolumu cemaatlerini ihmal etmi? durumda. Kilisemizin basi, episkoposlarimiz, bascobanlarimiz neredeler? Hukumet ve mafyanyn duzenbazliklarina ve yolsuzluklara dur diyerek karsi koyacak olan haklliligin sesi nerede? Cemaat ile kim ilgilenecek (Ezekiel 34:1-10)? Baspatrik Karekin II’nin 1700 yildonumu projesi için milyonlarca dolar harcarken korlestigini ve arkaplanini iyice yoksullasan cocuklaryn ve insanlarin teskil ettigi mimari bir ihtisami elit tabakaya sergilemekle mesgul oldugu acaba dogru mu?
Ermenistan’in kahrini dindirmek için kilisenin yapabilecegi o kadar cok ?ey
var ki. Bunlardan ilki ve en onemlisi insanlarin gonlunu alabilmek, onlara
iyi bir onder olmak ve haklilik için cabalamaktir. Yeni atanan ve 6-7 Kasim
tarihlerinde toplanacak olan Yuksek Ruhani Kurul’un Isa’nin Kilisesine,
O’nun ogretilerine ve O’nun zayiflara olan sefkatine odaklanmasini saglamak.
Yardim etmek icin biz ne yapabiliriz? Sanirim su anda uygulanabilecek olan
en etkili yontem e-mail araciligi ile kaygilarinizi Patrik Mesrob Mutafyan’a
iletmek olacaktir. … O, Yuksek Ruhani Kurul’daki en onemli kisilerden
biri. Onun sesi her zaman yuksek maneviyati ve ruhani gucu temsil eder. Fani
biri olarak, kendisi gercekten kilise vicdaninin sesidir. Haydi,

Subject: A PLEA OF HELP FOR OUR CHURCH AND ARMENIA
“BLESSED OUR THOSE WHO HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR THEY WILL BE
FILLED.” OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (MATT 5:6).
Things have gone from bad to worse in Armenia. This years drought has
destroyed much of its crops, there has been no significant improvement in
the economic situation and the possibility famine lingers in the air. The
bulk of the people get poorer, the government and the mafia get richer and
much of the Armenian Church leadership, the so called shepherds, have
neglected their flock. Where is the head of our church and his bishops, our
chief shepherds? Where is the voice of righteousness to stand and speak up
to corruption and deceit of the government and the mafia. Who will look
after the flock?(Ezekiel 34:1-10) Can it be that his H.H. Karaken II is
blinded with spending millions on his 1700 anniversary project and showing
its architectural splendor to the elite while impoverished children and
people decorate it exterior landscape.
Their is so much that the church can do to help correct Armenia’s woe’s.
First and foremost win the hearts of the people, be their good shepherd and
strive for righteousness. Make sure that the newly appointed Supreme
Spiritual Council, which shall meet on November 6-7, stays focused on
Christ’s Church, His teaching and His compassion for the meek.
What can we do to help? Right now, I feel one of the most effective means is
to send your concerns to the via e-mail to Patriarch Mesrob Mutafyan. He is
a champion for righteousness and truly a good shepherd to his church and
people. He is one of the key people on the Supreme Spiritual Council and his
voice is always one of great spirituality and strength. He is truly the
church’s mortal and moral ,voice of conscience. Let us help him, help our
people. Send him and find others to e-mail our desire for the Holy See and
the Church as a whole to be the spiritual shepherd and the countries voice
of conscience. If you can’t find the time to write, then just forward this
letter to him. It takes one second of your time to make a difference for so
