Oծվեց Միածնաէջ Մայր տաճարի զանգակատան խաչը / The Cross of the Bell Tower of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin was Consecrated

Օգոստոսի 27-ին, հանդիսապետությամբ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի լուսարարապետ Գերաշնորհ Տ․ Հովնան եպիսկոպոս Հակոբյանի, կատարվեց Մայր Աթոռի Միածնաէջ Մայր Տաճարի զանգակատան խաչի օծման արարողությունը։ 

Մայր Տաճարի առջև, ըստ ընկալյալ կարգի, նախ սաղմոսների ներքո գինով և ջրով լվացվեց խաչը, ապա սուրբգրային ընթերցվածքներից ու աղոթքներից հետո Հովնան Սրբազանը և Մայր Աթոռի Վարչատնտեսական բաժնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ․ Մուշեղ եպիսկոպոս Բաբայանը սրբալույս մյուռոնով օծեցին այն։ «Խաչի Քո, Քրիստոս» շարականի երգեցողության ներքո կատարվեց խնկարկություն, որից հետո ներկա հոգևոր դասը համբուրեց նորաօծ խաչը։

Այնուհետև ներկաների գոհաբանական մաղթանքների և շարականների երգեցողության ներքո օծված խաչը կռունկով բարձրացվեց և տեղադրվեց զանգակատան գմբեթին։

On August 27, under the presidency of His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother Seeof Holy Etchmiadzin; the consecration of the Cross of the bell tower of the Mother Cathedral was offered. 

In front of the Mother Cathedral, according to tradition, under the chanting of psalms the Cross was washed with wine and water, and after prayers and scripture readings from the Bible, His Grace Bishop Hovnan and His Grace Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Director of the Operations Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, consecrated the Cross with Holy Muron. After the offering of incense under the hymn “Your Cross, Christ”, the clergy kissed the newly consecrated Cross. 

Then, with prayers and under the singing of hymns of the attendees, the consecrated Cross was raised with a crane and installed on the dome of the bell tower.
